Editing Services

Background:

I've been editing books since 2009. I have worked with individual clients, which include both NYT and USA Today bestselling authors, as well as three different book publishers. I have been an acquisitions editor, developmental editor, copy editor, and proofreader. At this time, I work exclusively with my own list of clients; however, I am currently accepting new clients.

Rates:

Developmental edit: $2.50 per double-spaced page. This includes me correcting grammar, spelling, punctuation, and any other issues with your sentence construction as well as commenting on all aspects of your story. You will receive an editorial letter with overall feedback as well as the changes and comments I leave in the document itself. I use the track changes feature in Word to make it easy for you to accept changes and address comments directly in your manuscript.

Proofread: $2.25 per double-spaced page. This type of edit will not comment on your plot or story features. It will only address grammar, spelling, punctuation, and typos of any nature. I will highlight overly used words and repetition of phrases as well.
